Collecting and using personal data of customers, suppliers and other third parties
This applies to both our (potential) customers and parties with whom we do business and/or purchase services.
If you are a (potential) customer, we will then use your data in order to send you a quotation, to determine which specifications or preferences must be met by a specific issue or service, to ensure issues can be delivered or activities can be performed on your behalf, in order to invoice and to ensure we can communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the execution aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or another client, your personal data is also required to enter into and execute any agreements we may have. This is required with regard to procurement to ensure that we can let you know which specifications or preferences a specific issue or service must meet in our opinion, in order to send a quotation request or to place an order, to ensure we can pay your invoices and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of these agreements.
You are not obliged to give us your personal data. If you do not issue personal data or if the data supplied is insufficient, it is possible that we may not be able to perform the aforementioned activities.
Direct marketing to customers
If you order from us on a regular basis, we will keep the personal data that you have specified and use it to inform you personally in the future by email about our existing and new products and services. We have a justified reason to use your personal data for this objective, namely, to share knowledge about our products and services. Every time we send you a mailing, you will have the opportunity to inform us that you are not interested in receiving this. Please see the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every mailing. Once you are one of our customers, we will only send you messages if you have given your permission to do so in advance.
Retention period of personal data of customers, suppliers and other third parties
If you have requested a quotation from us, but you did not end up being one of our customers, we will remove your data from our systems one year after our last contact at the latest. If we have received a quotation from you, but we did not become one of your customers, we will also remove your personal data from our systems one year after our last contact at the latest. If you did become one of our customers or we have become your customer, we will keep your personal data for seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement between us has been fully executed. The period of seven years agrees with the period in which we are obliged to keep our administration for the Tax Authorities. Once this period has ended, we will remove your personal data from our systems.
Collecting and using personal data of business contacts
Please be aware that we will collect and use the personal data that you issue to us because you have given permission for this and/or because this is required for the promotion of our justified interests. We process the following data: name, address and contact details.
If you are one of our business contacts, we will use your data to contact you for objectives that are in the interest of our company. This could, for example, be to discuss a possible cooperation, issuing and obtaining information and maintaining our network.
You are not obliged to give us your personal data. If you do not issue us with personal data or if the data is insufficient, it is possible that we may not be able to implement the aforementioned objectives.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website. Information is stored in these text files that can again be recognised by the website during a later visit.
Our website uses tracking cookies if you have given permission for this. We do this to gather information about your Internet behaviour so that we can send you tailor-made offers for products or services. You may withdraw your permission at any time. Your personal data will be kept for a year at most.
We also place functional cookies. We do this to make using our website easier. Examples of this is remembering products in your shopping trolley or your login data during your visit.
By using analytical cookies, we can see which pages are visited and what users click on our website. We use Google Analytics for this. The information that Google collects in this way is anonymised as much as possible.
Transfer to third parties
In relation to the execution of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we may have to issue your personal data to parties that deliver parts, materials and products to us or who perform activities at our instructions. We also use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and procurement administration and your personal data is part of this. Your personal data will therefore be issued to our provider of server space because of this reason. We also use Microsoft Office and the related saving options for emails and other files.
Your rights
You are entitled to ask us to give you direct access to your personal data. If there is a reason for this, you can also ask us to supplement your personal data or to amend data that is incorrect. In addition, you are entitled to ask that your personal data be erased or that the use of your personal data be restricted. You may also make us aware that you object to your personal data being collected and used or you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
